Card magic... And it's so fun, you guys

My hands are crap for agile and precise movements, but I'm still managing to learn some basic moves. I can make coins disappear with two different kinds of drops, I can properly riffle shuffle and bridge a deck, perform a charlier cut, a sybil cut, swing cuts, swivel cuts, fake passes, plus produce and tuck away cards without raising much suspicion. This is seriously the most fun I've had with a virtually non expensive hobby in forever. The only time money comes into play is to buy decks, as I've found out locally produced cards are nowhere near as good at handling as american made Bicycle decks, and if you were to invest in an out of print Gaff deck, for example, you'd be forking over about 25 dollars for what little overstock is left, or even more than that on eBay. I feel like I have to talk about this, but I can't, because magic, and I don't want to give away what little stuff I already managed to create.... so have this instead.

I know some as well, most end with cards or napkins on fire, but there's one realy cool with a gimmick pen you can "erase" with heat. So you can predict some stuff, miss, pretend to burn some money and then the prediction appears written on the money.

It's not "cool" but it's fun mixing and coming up with new effects. Plus, it really helps cheering patients up. Lighten up Francis, you sound like your parents got murdered by playing cards or something.

It gets annoying when it's everyday. If it's every once and a while I don't mind it. It has it's place. Everyday at the back of the bus is not it.

Yeah, I can actually imagine that. Not a lot of people do tricks or know how to do tricks here in Brazil, so it's definitely not an everyday thing, but there are people who obsess over other stuff that get really annoying to talk to. Like LOL matches, or a TV series that doesn't even air in Brazil, or fan theories about why superhero X did thing Y in comic #Z...

Relax, I won't suggest a Card Trick sublog or anything of the sort. Not even I am that annyoing hehehe...

At first I thought you meant matches as the thing you start fires with then I realized it was League. Yes people obsess over that too, it's especially annoying.
